Job Title: Senior Engineer Cost Estimation

Contract Duration: 2 years contract

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Reports To: Head of Greenfield Development Planning Section

KEY OBJECTIVES AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Essential Requirement:

• Cost Estimation: Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for Conceptual/Pre-FEED/FEED projects by analyzing project specifications, scope, and engineering information.

• Review the Pre-FEED/FEED cost estimation from contractors and consolidate for overall project costs.

• Risk Assessment: Identify and assess cost-related risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure cost predictability.

• Prepare and present cost reports and analysis to project teams and management, JVPs and PETRONAS.

• Benchmarking: Stay updated on industry cost trends, benchmarks, and best practices to

ensure competitiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Mandatory

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.

• Experience with cost estimation for Conceptual, Pre-FEED and FEED.

• Strong teamwork and communications skills.

• University degree (or similar qualification) in Engineering.

• Fluent in oral & written English.

Desirable

• Familiarity with the Malaysian upstream oil & gas industry.

• Experience with major oil and gas projects.

• Experience with joint-venture management.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

• Malaysia Exploration, Greenfield and Project Department and Greenfield Engineering & Construction Department.

• Petronas, Petronas Carigali and relevant Joint Venture Partners (i.e. KUFPEC, MOECO, etc.)

• Other authoritative bodies.

• Other potential customers and partners.
