Recently, the Ertha Energy team stepped out of the office and into the great outdoors for an invigorating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) hiking activity at the beautiful Taman Tugu. Embracing the physical challenge and the lush greenery, our dedicated team successfully took on and conquered the longest hiking route the urban forest has to offer. The extended trek provided a fantastic opportunity for our employees to reconnect with nature, promote personal wellness, and strengthen our team bonds far away from our usual daily routines.
To add an extra layer of excitement and friendly rivalry to our jungle trek, we organized two unique, nature-themed competitions along the trail. The first was the “Largest Dried Leaf” contest, which had everyone keeping a keen eye on the forest floor, marveling at the incredible scale and diversity of the local flora. Alongside this, our “Most Creative Picture” competition sparked immense imagination, as team members found innovative, humorous, and artistic ways to capture the beauty of the forest and the joy of the hike. These engaging activities not only brought out a spirit of fun but also encouraged a much deeper, interactive appreciation for the natural environment surrounding us.
What made this CSR event truly special, however, was its warm and highly inclusive atmosphere. We were absolutely delighted that several team members brought their children along for the adventure. The presence of the younger generation brought an incredibly lively and uplifting energy to the trail, transforming the hike into a wonderful, family-friendly outing. Seeing colleagues and their families walking side by side, sharing laughs, and eagerly participating in the natural contests made the day exceptionally fulfilling for everyone involved.
Overall, our Taman Tugu hiking activity was a resounding success. As we return to our work, we carry with us the renewed energy and tight-knit camaraderie forged on the trails, and we look forward to organizing many more inclusive, community-driven activities in the future.
